Potato Wreath: Easy Vegan Holiday Recipe

Updated: 10 hours ago

Try this easy festive recipe this Holiday Season. Boiled potatoes are mixed with spices, and then they are rolled into the dough sheet and baked till they turn golden. You can make this in many ways, but I especially like the Wreath since it’s Christmas.

Ingredients

Dough Sheet

Stuffing

Potatoes - 4

Green peas - 100 g

Chili -1

Cilantro - 2 tbsp

Salt - 2 tsp

Vegetable Masala(optional) - 1 tbsp

Red Chili Powder - half tsp

Cumin Powder - half tsp

Black Pepper Powder - half tsp

Mango powder - 1 tbsp

Garam Masala - 1 tsp

Dressing

Olive Oil – 2 Tbsp

Salt - half tsp

Oregano - half tsp

Red chili - half tsp

Rosemary - half tsp

Vegan Butter - optional

Sesame Seeds(Optional)

Steps

1) Preparing the Stuffing: Mash boiled potatoes and add finely chopped coriander, red chili, green peas, salt, and spices. Mix well

2) For the Dressing: Add olive oil to a bowl, then red chili powder, oregano, salt, rosemary & mix well

3) Brush the dough sheet with Olive oil dressing, add the potato mix on one side, and roll it by wrapping the potato mix

4) Slice the dough roll approximately 1 inch apart

5) Fold it like a round, and open each leaf.

6) Place the wreath in the baking tray and add the dressing followed by sesame seeds

5) Bake it for 7-10 mins over 300 C in a preheated oven

6) Finally, brush it with Vegan butter or with the olive oil dressing
