Try this easy festive recipe this Holiday Season. Boiled potatoes are mixed with spices, and then they are rolled into the dough sheet and baked till they turn golden. You can make this in many ways, but I especially like the Wreath since it’s Christmas.
Ingredients
Dough Sheet
Stuffing
Potatoes - 4
Green peas - 100 g
Chili -1
Cilantro - 2 tbsp
Salt - 2 tsp
Vegetable Masala(optional) - 1 tbsp
Red Chili Powder - half tsp
Cumin Powder - half tsp
Black Pepper Powder - half tsp
Mango powder - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Dressing
Olive Oil – 2 Tbsp
Salt - half tsp
Oregano - half tsp
Red chili - half tsp
Rosemary - half tsp
Vegan Butter - optional
Sesame Seeds(Optional)
Steps
1) Preparing the Stuffing: Mash boiled potatoes and add finely chopped coriander, red chili, green peas, salt, and spices. Mix well
2) For the Dressing: Add olive oil to a bowl, then red chili powder, oregano, salt, rosemary & mix well
3) Brush the dough sheet with Olive oil dressing, add the potato mix on one side, and roll it by wrapping the potato mix
4) Slice the dough roll approximately 1 inch apart
5) Fold it like a round, and open each leaf.
6) Place the wreath in the baking tray and add the dressing followed by sesame seeds
5) Bake it for 7-10 mins over 300 C in a preheated oven
6) Finally, brush it with Vegan butter or with the olive oil dressing
